Making of Calendar - Mann Ee [ October ]

To complete this Calendar, we will need to the following stock:

Beach

Sunset

Music notes

Harp

 Step 1: Open the group calendar template file which created by Our group leader Wei ting as shown in the previous post, Chajatda calendar template

Step 2 :Load the Sunset image into Photoshop and select a portion as shown below:

  Copy and paste the selection onto our document, resize it to fit the width of the canvas.

Step 3: Load the Beach photo into Photoshop, cut out the city portion of the image as shown below:

Paste the selected part onto our document, resize it to fit the width of the canvas: (Use Clone Stamp Tool and Healing Brush Tool to remove the people on the Beach image)

Step 4: adjust the Brightness/Contrast of the layer to make the image look brighter

 Step 5: Load the Music Notes image into Photoshop, select the Music Notes from the image by using Magic Wand Tool.

Paste the selection on to our document,then flip the image horizontal and adjust the blending option to "Linear Dodge(Add)" mode :

Step 6: Now, Load the Harp image into photoshop and select Harp from the image by using Magic Wand Tool.

Drag the layer into our document.And arrange it nicely.

Select the part of the string of the harp by using Quick Selection Tool >> Layer via Cut. then blend it into Multiply Mode

 Step 7 : Create a new layer, and add a shodow effects of the harp
 by using Soft Brush Tool.

Step 8: Then add a glowing effect over the harp by using Brush tool. Add a outer glow and inner glow effects on the layer.

 
Step 9 : add in text [ October ] by using horizontal typed tool. then Apply the following layer blending options to this rock:

Drop Shadow.

Outer Glow

Color Overlay

Stroke

Step 10: Type and Arrange the Date of March nicely and properly

Step 11: Add in the "Holidays in Malaysia" at the right bottom part.

Step 11: Lastly, Add in the Group, Name and ID  [ Chajatda_Wong Mann Ee_1102702658 ]
